A paraphrase on 1 Corinthians 13: (borrowed from this blogger)

1 If I have a sparkling clean and organised home, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

So, you've started off the year with all kinds of wonderful hopes and plans. I'm sure all of your resolutions are good and well-meaning. But, be careful and guard yourself that none of these things becomes more important than to love the Lord and your family. Then they will be rubbish, worth nothing.
